Priscilla Layton has been a nurse for over 20 years and a legal nurse consultant for 9 years. Her nursing experience consists of caring for patients in the acute and long-term care environments. Long-term care assignments have included the role of Director of Nurses and completion of annual State Survey with zero nursing deficiencies. Her acute care experience includes but is not limted to the medical-surgical, ICU, Recovery, ER Pediatric and Obstetric areas in large, rural and militry facilities.

Ms. Layton consults on numerous plaintiff and defense cases including Medical and Nursing Malpractice, Negligence (specializing in long-term care), Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, and Insurance Defense cases. Her services include the review, analysis, and summary of medical records as well as assistance with preparation for deposition, mediation, and/or trial.

Ms. Layton also consults with local law enforcement authorities, medical specialists (including radiologists), medical examiners, finds appropriate providers and sets up IME's, and attend IME's upon request.
